student finances
CCSP is a non-profit school. Its purpose is to give help to the students and promote the cause of Christ. The churches of Christ in Central Carolina will help to support CCSP along with other interested persons and congregations.
NO TUITION
There are no tuition charges for an education at CCSP. This means that the student pays nothing to participate in classes. Their only school related expenses will be for textbooks and supplies. Cost for comparable education at colleges that charge tuition would be several thousand dollars. Students may be assigned various chores while attending CCSP.
LIVING EXPENSES
Students are responsible for their own living expenses. The School does not assume financial responsibility for any student. Some students are self- supported; others are supported by relatives and friends; some have working wives; most receive support from one or more congregations.
Students who need financial assistance should go directly to congregations and individuals with whom they are familiar and request aide. This should be done after one has examined his commitment to unselfishly give his life, in service to the Lord's cause.
Congregations and individuals who desire may send student’s support to CCSP for distribution to the student on a set schedule. Students must make arrangements for their living expenses before entering the school. The school will advise and assist as much as possible. All finances are overseen by the eldership of the Kingsbury Road
church of Christ.
Students who receive support from either individuals or congregations are required to keep them informed of their
progress.
INSURANCE
It is expected that students arrange for some kind of insurance in the event of illness or emergency. When you
