Attendance
CLASS ATTENDANCE. Classes meet from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday through Friday with appropriate breaks in the day, such as for lunch. Each student is expected to begin each class session on time. All unnecessary tardiness or absence must be arranged or excused with the Director/Academic Dean and respective instructors. Certain periods during the day may be designated as study or “lab” time. Students are expected to be present at such period as instructed.
CHAPEL ATTENDANCE. Daily chapel attendance is required by all full time students.
CHURCH ATTENDANCE. Every Student is expected to attend all services of their respective congregation, except when preaching or filling other spiritual duties at another congregation of the Lord's people.
LECTURESHIP ATTENDANCE. Several lectureships are held each year in various areas in the Southeast. The school will host an annual Lectureship that will invite sound speakers to address selected themes. Students will be required to attend several of the lectureships.
SEMINAR ATTENDANCE. Qualified men of the brotherhood will be invited to speak at special seminars. All CCSP students are required to attend.
LEAVES OF ABSENCE. A leave of absence can be granted to students for conditions beyond their control, such as road hazards, inclement weather conditions, sickness, death in the immediate family, necessary office business, representing the school, and military service.
ABSENCES AND TARDINESS. Students are expected to attend all classes. Anyone whose attendance is determined to be unsatisfactory must meet with the director or will be dismissed. Medical and Dental appointments should be made after school hours. Emergencies will be excused with proper documentation.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES. Several social events will be planned for the students and their families. These events will be wholesome activities which will provide godly fellowship, and will allow social skills to be enhanced.
SATISFACTORY WORK. All work must be completed. There will be penalties for failure to complete work on time.
